ORDINANCE NO. 89-1
OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
RANCHO MURIETA COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT
AMENDING SECTION 4.05 OF THE DISTRICT'S WATER CODE

Section 1
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RANCHO
MURIETA COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT that Section 4.21 of the
District's water code is added and states as follows:

4.21 Testing of Backflow Devices.
Pursuant to County ordinance, certain categories of
District customers are required to install, maintain and test
annually backflow devices. District personnel are certified to
perform the annual testing and, upon the customer's request, will
do so on a time-and-materials basis charged to the customer and
collectible as any other District fee.

Section 2
To the extent the terms and provisions of this
Ordinance may be inconsistent or in conflict with the terms and
provisions of any prior District ordinances, resolutions, rules,
or regulations, the terms of this Ordinance shall prevail and
such inconsistent or conflicting terms and provisions of prior
ordinances, resolutions, rules, and regulations are hereby
repealed.
 

Section 3
If any provision of this Ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, no other
provision of this Ordinance shall be affected thereby.

Section 4
This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after adoption.
This Ordinance shall be published once in a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the District
within 30 days of adoption.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the
Rancho Murieta Community Services District, County of Sacramento,
State of California, this 19th day of April , 198~, at
a meeting of the Board by the following vote:
